I'm not sure about TOAW IV. I've got the game but I never analyzed its savegames. Also I thought it has a much better tool for replays that doesn't need any improvements. Maybe I'll check it out if I have a moment to spare.

thanks for considering this. yes TOAW has good replays, but what I aim is simply to have the HQ names of Armies printed on the map (the one what is zoomed out with small blue/red dots is fine) as a static image. The TOAW replays are ok, but we lose the bigger picture of where the armies/corps (main HQ) are. This was addressed by your nice tool in WITE.

Niedowidek_slith-Nice and helpful map output sir.
I installed the latest version (from page 1 in this thread) and I get a map output but no commanders' names.

Edit: I see the version on the first page is 0.1.0. I installed 0.1.25 from this page and I get the commanders' names.

nYn, thank you :) Always nice to see that it's helpful to someone.

fulcrum28, we talked about it in PMs. Today I took a look at WITE2 Commander's Report and I didn't find units' locations there, so right now it seems impossible to implement map generator for WITE2.
I dropped a post in WITE2 forum. I hope some developer will see it and will add this information to CR (morvael already did something similar for WITE1 reports so we could have visible enemy units on a generated map).
