Enemy units

Post by AstroBlues »

Would having the S key on show if an enemy unit got behind my line? My units in Libya suddenly have no supply source. I still have Alexandria. My convoy has no interdiction. There is supply showing up to the Egyptian/Libya border. Is there an explanation?

No enemy are invisible in WPE. So you must be able to see if you have someone behind your line.
Without a screenshot this is hard to answer you.

Do you know that an HQ can extend your supply network?

What I suspect is that you have just moved your HQ a bit too far away and your suppy network just collapses.

But this is WP where all unit counters are visible [8D].
Malta will be out of supply if it has an adjacent enemy warship, unless you have a warship in or adjacent to Malta.
If you put the supply matrix on you should be able to see the problem. NB supply route only extends 9 OPs (not hexes) from railhead or port. Large forces in NA therefore often struggle with supply.

I found by pressing the S key that there is a big yellow exclamation point on one of the ports. What does this mean?

Thanks,

It means you are exceeding this port capacity. You have too many units to supply.
Are you Allies or Axis?

I am the Allies.

Bingo, exactly what I was suspecting:
What I suspect is that you have just moved your HQ a bit too far away and your suppy network just collapses.

You have moved your HQ outside your supply network and it does not extend anything now.
Alvaro's suggestion is the good one.
