There are two "WarPlan Pacific" games

Your new game is obviously no relation to War Plan Pacific published by Shrapnel Games back in the days of Windows XP, but do you see any potential issues of consumer confusion between the two products?

The Shrapnel game is also a turn-based PC game with multiplayer, and it is still on sale on their website. Intellectual property even in the UK was not my field at all but you and Matrix really do need to resolve any naming issues before publication. It will be a lot less messy than having a problem after launch.

I'm sure that it can be sorted - 'War Plan in the Pacific', for example, might be better if Shrapnel don't like your current name.

Agreed, better to avoid than solve problems...

Hi guys,

These are different games released over a decade apart and War Plan vs. Warplan. Should not be an issue that would cause any confusion with wargamers.

It's a Windows PC game too. I used to own it, but I had completly forgotten it ever existed.
