MODS AND GRAPHIC SETTINGS

Shock Force 2 brings you to a hypothetical conflict in Syria between the forces of NATO and the Syrian Army. Play either on WeGo or Real Time in an incredibly detailed and realistic 1:1 tactical simulation.

MODS AND GRAPHIC SETTINGS

Post by stickley92 »

So far so good love the CMSF2 just picked it up on steam. Just a few questions.

What are peoples recommended graphic settings my current set up is:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
AMD Radeon RX 5700XT
32GB 3200mgz RAM
and its loaded onto an SSD, yet i only get 15-20 fps while setting the graphic options to "better" in both options. I have also set my resolution manually to 1920x1440. Does anyone have any ideas what i can do to help?

Secondly where do i find the best mods, be it graphic enhancement's like re shade or gameplay mods.

If anyone can point me in the right direction be much appreciated

Use the default "balanced" values. Unfortunately the game uses a very old opengl implementation.

As for Maps and Mods , think you should check out the Battlefront forums : http://community.battlefront.com/forum/ ... -and-mods/

The Few Good Men is also a nice repository of CM mods. I'm just getting back into CM, I last played CMAK somewhere around 2005 [X(], so I don't have any recommendations just yet.

Just be aware that texture mods for CMSF1 may not work correctly in CMSF2.

I have a similar system, Ryzen 3700x, RX Vega 56, 16G Ram and play at 2560x1080.

In game, use ‘balanced”, the game will dynamically adjust up to best depending on FPS, especially noticeable when zooming in on a unit.

Anti-aliasing on, vertical sync off.

AMD options, application controlled. Do you have a free sync monitor, if yes turn it on.

You can push texture quality up without much impact. I believe it mostly effects the number of alternate textures loaded if a model has alternate textures (i.e. like mixed uniforms in WW2 titles).

My options are all to the max but as the fonts are tiny I play in 1366x768, and the game runs very well.

In game settings menu. Some things can also be adjusted on the fly during a game. Check the hot keys.
