The Judgement Day - Evoken(A) vs T3 rminator AI

Post by Evoken »

Hello everyone , hopefully i will keep a more consistent AAR this time [:D]

My Coop partner paradigmblue has some construction work going on at his house and my other opponent is at vacation so i found myself with lots of free time and decided to take on Andy Mac's T3 Ironman.

Andy Mac suggested allied player to add some toys to have a chance so i did some work on the allied side in the editor;
1)Pearl harbor is empty of important ships , whole fleet is at San Diego with a magic move task force at hex (standart BB's got a speed upgrade to 27 Knots)
2)Soviet Union is active from start (Took a peak at Manchurian army there were a lot of 1k AV units [X(] )
3)Most allied task forces have turn 1 magic move to run away and prevent couple very deep invasions (Denpasar and Nuku Hiva)
4)Fletcher class DD's arrive 1 year earlier.
5)Allied bombers got drop tanks and bombloads similar to GG's War in the West
6)A lot of allied aircraft (mostly British) arrive earlier (a few months to year) , increased production for some key allied aircraft
7)All emergency invasion response forces are on map
8)All units should be unrestricted (there could be few i missed)
9)Extra 5k supply daily at Chungking and 10k extra supply at Soviet Union , Chinese squads production rate trippled , mine production for allies trippled
Here is the link for the scenario with my changes: Scenario Files
and here is my save file if anyone wants to avoid a 20 hour grind [:D]: Save File

Game settings i am playing with

CA Pensacola did well. Every time I sent her against the Makin invasion she ate at least one torpedo, but did manage to hit most of the enemy ships hard.
What were the troop losses for the Japanese at Makin?

Normally there isnt any fighting ships up north except a few old DD's and 2 damaged BB's , i guess it didnt need a lot of cover. Felt like its main purpose was to make sure Coal Harbour invasions goes through without issues

Nice job on that invasion TF, but where did the Kates and Zeros come from? If land-based, can he fly in more opposition next turn?

Some type of Q ship or AMC or CS with float plane capability. Don't want to say more.[;)]
