MWiF on Linux?

Post by alexvand »

Is anyone running MWiF on Linux?

The Win7 Machine I've been playing on is about to be turned into a Linux box. If I can play MWiF there that would be awesome.

But if not I'll be looking at playing somewhere else in the house.

You can have a Virtual Machine with Windows installed on the Linux system and play from it. I have played for a few years in a Mac on Parallels and VirtualBox.

It runs for me on Wine; the UI appears to be no goofier than on Win7. But yes, works for me (at least solo; haven't tried netplay).

partition the drive? that is what I do on my Mac. Half the drive is for work (mac), the rest is for play (WiF!)

I'm turning a Win7 machine into a Linux box. Given that Win7 is not supported after January I don't want to partition it.
