Context to units?

Post by Bleek »

Hi all, just started playing.

Am I missing something, but when I purchase or view properties of units I don't get any contextual information i.e. text! Be it flavour or historical text/background. I see a table of numbers with no tooltips or idea of what they all mean... is there a way to see more information or help?

Also this might be my lack of understanding in relation to the above, but I don't see "transport" ships in my purchase menu?

Sorry for the new questions. [:)]

Transports are done in a port. Each nation has a limited number per turn based on historical values. So the US has the most, etc.

The manual shows what all the numbers mean and which are used for combat.

I wrote a quick starters quick here

There is also a strategy guide. Along with the manual it can be accessed from the menu on the right side when in game at any time.

No need to apologize for asking questions. We will help any way we can

Cheers and happy gaming!

After I posted this I found the manual PDF in the game folder But I didn't realise you could access it in-game too. Doh!

I'll take a look at your guide, thank you. [:)]
