site or steam version?

and screen size used etc?

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post as it's a Txt file which is then permitted to attach to the forum.

I am French but I installed the game in English because I never play in French because the translation is not always very good. I don’t know why the game automatically starts in French, I can’t find any option to change the language(?)

Another example of a presentation of the not optimal briefing:

same size used in mine and mine works a treat at the same size, so something else maybe is in the mix

are you installing as admin? and running as admin? as mines steam and that's mine shown, i've been testing it for years, so never had the issue you have had, it's always scaled well for me as i use a none default DPI also

User DPI Setting: 120 DPI (125 percent)
System DPI Setting: 144 DPI (150 percent)

so not a default 96 DPI used either

and as shown, nothing needed altering either, default install and setup, works out of the box

Do you play in French?

Beside that, the game works correctly.

Why can’t we change the language ? There are spelling errors as usual in the games translated into French.

i'm not sure on the translation part, but for me it picks up on what's installed as your main language, why it's not full screen depends on how you installed it maybe? as there is no settings as such, or is in mine to alter, just picks up the systems default

Hi terminator

It looks like its defaulting to the language settings on your PC. I was originally going to provide translations but then switched it off (or so I thought!) so they have not been optimised. I will fix this in an update. In the meantime can you email me and I will sort out a quick fix for you.

Hi lance,

Thanks for the quick fix, it works [:)]

I no longer have the game in French, it is now in English with a good presentation :

This game is not ready for launch in my opinion. Sorry. It's very basic and even less feature rich than similar games from decades ago.

it's not meant to be WITE or anything else, it is what it is, a entry level basic war game, and doesn't pretend to be anything else, something you can pick up and play in a evening over a few hours, no more no less [;)]

I like this game. It's a great entry-level wargame for someone like me, who hasn't played in years and wants to renew an old, much-loved pastime.
