The Grandaddy of them All Available - FREE!!

The very first SP is available at
http://www.theunderdogs.org

it's a 10.5mb download. Don't know how long it will be there but if you haven't played the original it is worth it. And there are LOTS of scenarios for it.

Its like going from Kindergarten to College, Paul!

I still, however, remember the thrill the first time I cranked the old girl up!

I love the whole game so much I have the originals (plus the scenario disks), plus I went out and bought the Arsenal Set. I was thinking of putting one of them in Ft. Knox
so that one would always be safe. ;)

I have purchased the SSI games so many times it isn't funny. I'm tragically disorganized and living in two farflung places at once. I flip between modern warfare and WW2 every few months and I'm trying to locate my SP2 and campaign disks someplace.

I recently purchased SP3 from a clearing house online, but can't find the SP2 and SP3 campaigns.

Eh. I can wait for modern DB and ruleset for the new generation. Still need to roll out in my trust LAV-25 or M3A3 and light up ... well anyone.

So far I'm having difficulty getting into the Megacampaign...

I have two copies of everything myself. But I got the download because it's suppose to run without a CD. Haven't checked yet but will soon.

if interested...the one at the link below
is a better d/l...has an install program
with a bunch of scenarios...was playing
a minute after d/l...
http://www.bhlegend.com/php/show.php3

its also a little larger than the underdogs
...and now i can see how far the play has
advance...the difference between sp1 and spwaw is quite a bit to say the least...

I just tried it and found some things. First off - it is looking for the CD - I put in my CD and it worked. There is a program to solve this but I don't remember where it is. If anybody knows, please, let me know. I'll be looking too.

Some other things, Run setsound, make sure the shortcut has the proper "working directory" set in it, and set the "Screen Usage" to Window.

That worked for me.

You still can buy the first data disc for SPII here: http://duchet.com/JSC.htm
The website is french speaking (or maybe the Javascript loads an apropriated version on start up?) but it's an english store and you can order by phone. Shipment's free :) but you must order more than a certain amount (something like 12$?)! There's no problem here for they offer really cool stuff to pick from! :)
Hope it helps.
