Sobstitute Allied Player wanted

Post by George Patton »

Hi,

I'm playing as Japan, scenario 1, extended map with SL, game version 1.8.11.26b.
The date is December 10th, 1941. My opponent resigned because Singapore is fallen on December 8th. He thought (and so do I) that the resistance was stronger and, with the falling of the fortress, he has lost all the squadrons at the airbase.
During the same day, Balikpapan also is fallen.
It is the first time that I've tried something so strange and I really would like to see how far could I go.

Anyone that want to continue with the allied side?

Are you serious? That's just a flea bite. Imagine playing as Japan and losing 4 CVs in less than 30 days...

Now that was something further than your run of the mill Mersing gambit [:D]
What happened with Force Z and all the CDs/mines? Do you also plan on taking Portland in the first week?

Force Z fled. Mines caused a lot of casualties but the landing was a success.
Anyway the british expected the japanese invasion from the sea, not from the jungle.

I've had opponents early lock up Maylaya, the DEI, Rangoon, and China and short order and still forced a capitulation by late 1944...

Chiming in late to ask if the thread title was just a Freudian slip... [:D]
