Scenario Editing: Starting Aircraft at Altitude

I searched the forums but could not find this particular answer.

Is there a way to have an aircraft at scenario start at a particular altitude... currently when I 'add unit' to the scenario my aircraft are starting in flight at 36000 ft ASL

Use the altitude descriptor (it's in metres)
