Are you mixing the extended map with the standard map pwhexe or vice versa? Many mod scenarios use the extended map.

Bill, No, this was a fresh install with the new update. Also I can't load troops in either a transport or amphibious TF at Aden. But I can select the troops from the map or base window and setup TF's at Aden. I am at 12/25/41. I checked an earlier save from 12/08/41 with the same results at Abadan. No troops at Aden to test with. All other off map bases work fine....GP

Scenario 33 is not a stock scenario, so it must be a mod of some kind.

GP - take this with a large grain of salt... There was a map issue a couple years ago where Abadan and Aden were both offset by one hex to the East of where they appeared on the map - so the symptoms you describe were happening. What I can remember was it had something to do with the extended versions of modified maps and where the base was "located" in the PW hex files. If you click on the map around the open space Abadan or Aden and the port/base opens then the map file is probably your culprit.

hope it helps.

Bill, Yes, this is the AI upgrade for scenario 1 that Andy Mac is working on. Standard map and map files from the vanilla game....GP

Thanks for the idea Jim. But as mentioned above, this is a Vanilla reload with no map changes. The only changes to the scenario 33 compared to scenario 1 is the AI and some bases here and there in OZ. See Andy Macs thread in the design part of this forum....GP

I tested 3 other vanilla scenarios and all had the same problem. So I deleted and reinstalled. The issue has disappeared. I am going to re-download Andys revised scenario 33 and see what happens....GP

Sounds like you had the extended map pwhexe file and you were trying to use it with a standard map scenario.

Bill, The only files I moved into this install was the AI upgrade from Andy. But I'm happy to say that the new install works with Andy's upgraded AI and the other scenarios. So, Problem may just of been a corrupted file in the install process. But thanks for the many suggestions and ideas....GP
