Retreat UE and Bacon Mod

Post by jack6563 »

Could someone walk me through combining Bacon Mod with Retreat UE? I don't really understand enough to figure out what works without editing Bacon to play nicely with Retreat UE or vice versa. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I followed all the steps, but what do I do with BaconSettings.txt and Passengers.txt? I assume that I just put them into the RetreatUE folder? And can the Fighters.txt included in Baconmod be safely discarded?

This I do not know since I don't play anymore. You may get an answer from the baconmod thread.

Thanks, I think I've got it working though. For anyone else who happens to have similar problems, I got an error when I started a new game with the combined mods when I did not put BaconSettings.txt and Passengers.txt into my RetreatUE folder. When I did put them in everything seemed to be working (or at least no obvious problems) for the two minutes I bothered to test it.

BaconSettings.txt and Passengers.txt don't need to be in any mod folder. They should be in the root folder next to the bacon executable.

Yeah, originally it seemed fine, but I'm getting a lot of exception errors so thanks for the tip.
