- An extra time accel setting, "2x", has been added.
- The sim resolution (ie. pulse timeslice) is now 0.1 sec not only when running at 1-1, but also at 2x and 5x accel.

So if major features of "Chains of war" are in this release candidate 1.12 then Chains of War release itself must be very close :)

I downloaded this file today. The Build is touted as 936, but after it has been unzipped and installed, it indicates that it is Build 935. Was this an oversight, or did I do something wrong? I obtained the file from the top location, and it is titled 936.

I noticed there's an empty "WW2DB" folder in the pack... does it mean a WW2 Database is in the works? And we can create WW2 scenarios eventually? [:D]

Awesome work!

I figure this will roll out on Steam once the candidate's locked in as the actual release?

ShadowB, you can put this over the top of your Command directory in your Steam Library just fine.

I'm showing Build 936, and I LOVE the 2x. Interestingly enough, even in this update pack (at least on DB3K) the included scenarios are a DB behind the latest.

(Of course I made a copy of the directory to another location before merging the update into the running location...)

I see the new 2x speed, so I know that I have the upgrade. I wonder that since I got my via the regular download, and you got yours via stream, perhaps they are different since mine shows as build 935, and not 936. Or, perhaps there is another reason?

Hi Doug,

There was an error in packing at the first upload. This was rectified soon afterwards. If you download the pack again now you will get the correct B936 exe. Thanks!

Command v1.12 Release Candidate (Build 936.1)

Download: Superseded by Build 936.2

To install: Unzip the contents to your existing Command installation folder, answering Yes to any overwrite prompts.

NOTE #1: Backup your existing installation.
NOTE #2: You must have an existing working v1.11 SR7 installation. Sitting over an older installation is not supported and may have unpredictable results.
NOTE #3: The major new features of the "Chains Of War" DLC are included in this build but disabled. They will be enabled when the DLC is installed.

Build 936.1 Release Notes (changes/additions since Build 936)
=============================================================================================

* Fix for Steam workshop issues
* Hide speed info for fixed facilities/groups
* Fixed: Helo climbs after last Hellfire and gets killed by SAM
* Fixed: Aircraft with Stand-off enabled doesn't fire all weapons on first pass
* Fixed: Doctrine crash for waypoints

* Improved support for 4K/UHD screens. Hopefully this will make the current awkward workaround unnecessary.

Steps:

1) Set your UHD screen's resolution to its native one, and the DPI setting to the one most suitable for you (4K screens often use 125-200% DPI).

2) On the \PreRequisites folder, there is a new file "PreferExternalManifest.reg". Run it, and it will add a registry key. (This will normally be handled by the installer)

3) Run Command. The UI should now lay out correctly without any distortions. Let us know!
