<summary>Update for Navy P-8 Poseidon Armed With Harpoon, AGM-154C LRASM(plan) Missiles</summary>
</detail>
U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft has been spotted flying a mission from Kadena Air Base on the Japanese island of Okinawa armed with live AGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship missiles.

The US Navy Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award Lockheed Martin a new order for Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) testing assets to achieve P-8 Poseidon MPA program requirements, according to a contract opportunity published on April 20.

Add loadout AGM-84G/N+ for US Navy P-8A. Also navy poseidon will integrate AGM-158C LRASM.

Hi,

Hope this is the right way to do this: could you possibly update the DB so Sea Harrier can use AMRAAM? The weapons are loaded on HMS Invincible but not able to be put on the Harriers...

<summary>Update USAF KC-135;s and KC-46 Pegasus with link-16 please.</summary>
<detail>The U.S. Air Force has selected Rockwell Collins to boost the communications capabilities for its legacy tanker aircraft KC-135R fleet with the implementation of a Real Time Information in the Cockpit (RTIC) system. This will mark the first permanently installed Link 16 system for a legacy U.S. tanker aircraft. Implementation of the Real Time Information in the Cockpit (RTIC) system will provide greatly enhanced situational awareness for pilots and much improved and secure communications capabilities.

“Pilots and boom operators will now be able to view intelligence feeds on the new avionics displays we’re providing as part of their Block 45 upgrade,” said Dave Schreck, vice president and general manager of Rockwell Collins Airborne Solutions. “With information such as enemy threats, target data, and blue force locations at their fingertips, crews will gain real-time situational awareness to more effectively carry out their missions.

That will bring a data link capability and a [satellite communications] capability on the [KC-135] that it doesn’t have,” Thomas said. “We need to do more. We only have funding for 50 right now.”
Evidence link#4:
While the KC-46 comes with factory-installed systems, such as Link 16, to be better able to communicate, the older KC-135s require upgrades ...

<summary>Embraer delivers first modernized E-99 AEW&C aircraft to Brazilian Air Force </summary>
<detail>November 27, 2020 – In a ceremony held today at the Embraer facility in Gavião Peixoto (São Paulo, Brazil), Embraer delivered the first modernized EMB 145 AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control), designated E-99, to the Brazilian Air Force (FAB). Four additional E-99 aircraft will be modernized as part of the contract.

The mission systems and related subsystems, including electronic warfare, command and control, electronic countermeasures, and aerial surveillance radar were updated as part of the modernization process, expanding FAB's capacity to carry out Flight Control and Alarm missions and Electronic Reconnaissance, among others.

The E-99M project is conducted by COPAC with support from Embraer and various international suppliers, such as SAAB, Aeroelectronica International (AELI), and Rohde & Schwarz. In addition to modernization, the project entails technology transfer agreements that will enable technological advancements for the Brazilian defense industry.

Hi,

The DOD has said in its 2020 China Military Power Report that the H-6K is capable of carry a nuclear bomb. The nuclear weapon in question is already in the game.

https://fas.org/blogs/security/2020/09/the-pentagons-2020-china-report/

https://media.defense.gov/2020/Sep/01/2002488689/-1/-1/1/2020-DOD-CHINA-MILITARY-POWER-REPORT-FINAL.PDF

DBID #1731 H-6K Badger [God of War] (China - 2011)

Please add a loadout with 1x DBID #2136 China Type 639-6 Strategic Bomb [3.3mT Nuclear]

I have two unrelated questions for the DB manager, the first of which is what the criteria is for requesting units that have little info about them, namely the Type 096 SSBN and the H-20 stealth bomber, is. Apparently, the Type 055 destroyer was added to the game when much about it was unknown too, and it was simply given characteristics from the Type 052D as a placeholder. In addition despite much being unknown about the Type 095 SSN, it has been added to the game very recently as well. Based on comparison between the F-22 and the J-20, it might be possible to create placeholder H-20 values by making it a sort of downgraded B-2. In the case of the Type 096, it could be an upgraded Type 094, while there are decently accurate predictions of the range of its new SLBM, the JL-3. When CMANO was first released, 2017, 2018, and 2019 were the "future" for scenarios made at the time of the release. Given the precedent created by the Type 055, I hope it will be possible to have units added with placeholder/estimate values, as the required information may take quite long to (or never) be released in the case of China, due to the geopolitical situation. Especially as the "future" for CMO scenarios becomes the mid and late 2020s.

My second question is what your stance on "ultra-hypothetical" units is and whether they can be requested or not. For example, the possibility of Japan acquiring nuclear weapons and/or ballistic missiles has been raised in recent years due to the threat of North Korea. Many predict a Japanese ICBM would be based on the M-V space launch vehicle. This is where the data values for a hypothetical Japanese ICBM unit could come from. An SSBN could be based on the Soryu class, etc. Suitable placeholder units exist in the DB for the most part, but particularly for the ICBM, a new unit would be better. Of course, the data for the units would be realistic, no record breaking speeds for aircraft, sci-fi weapons, or whatever.

All of these questions are in the context of potential requests for units I need for scenarios I plan to make.

Edit- added sources for the H-6K loadout request

The AIM-132 ASRAAM's max range seems to be rather short (27.8km) & is identical to the AIM-2000s, despite the ASRAAM being designed to be a longer range weapon with it's larger motor & aerodynamic differences.

Several sources such as Think Defence, Global Security and Military Today put its max range at 50km (sorry can't post the links due to the forum 10 post rule).

Is the radar cross section of the Arleigh Burke destroyers too high ?

According to Capt. James Kirk, the RCS of Arleigh Burke is 1/50th that of Ticonderoga cruisers, and Zumwalt 1/50th that of Burke.

This doesn't seem to be well reflected in the game database:

Ship RCS | front | side
----------------------------
Ticonderoga | 933 | 2187
Burke | 363 | 831
Zumwalt | 10 | 25
----------------------------

Casually I found this proof of clear use by USS Bunker Hill CG-55 of Standard SM-2MR Block III in 1988, and not 1990? as commonly stated. See  the 1988 PDF:

https://www.history.navy.mil/research/archives/command-operations-reports/ships/l/leyte-gulf-cg-55-i.html

Just another grain of salt!
Also, probably a plethora of data on this site, but also probably a lot of work!
