The update comes with the usual bug fixes, some increases to modability including a file structure overhaul, new features like widely variable screen resolution options (all the way up to 6400x4800!), rule changes, a new scenario, and more.

The v1.020 update includes some important improvements to the rules for artillery, carrier strikes, bombardment attacks and other areas. A variety of new features including improved retreats and resource movement as well as further increases in mod-ability, especially in tweaking political events. In addition, the update includes several bug fixes and a brand new scenario called Global Glory which puts a special emphasis on oil resources and additional realism options.
