Another major update is headed for hard drives at flank speed!
Matrix Games and Henderson Field Designs are proud to release a significant new update for their award winning WWII Pacific Theatre mega game, War in the Pacific – Admiral’s Edition! The new comprehensive 1.01.06g update comes with 80 fixes and improvement, including the ability to show all patrol zones and gameplay balance and realism improvements to naval bombardments and flak.

Report for duty at Division CP – a free playable demo for Battles from the Bulge has arrived!
Matrix Games and Panther Games (www.panthergames.com) are thrilled to release a free playable demo for the critically acclaimed WWII strategy game, Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge. The demo includes the fictional scenario called “Return to St. Vith” which depicts Patton’s 4th Armored Division launching a fierce counteroffensive behind enemy lines to cut off the supply route for German units still in the Bulge. Matrix Games and Slitherine Strategies (www.slitherine.com) are thrilled to announce that the latest expansion to their award winning ancients turn-based strategy game Field of Glory is now available for both PC and Mac operating systems! The expansion, entitled Field of Glory – Immortal Fire, introduces players to the varied and intriguing armies of the Classical and Hellenistic era with new features, tons of new units, an enhanced AI opponent, and more!
Alongside the release of Immortal Fire, the whole Field of Glory game system gets a major update to v. 1.3.0 and below is a full list of the changes. The update is downloadable directly from within the game.

Matrix Games, Slitherine Strategies (www.slitherine.com) and Strategy 3 Tactics are thrilled to release a video AAR showing off the elegant blend of turn-based strategy and real time tactical action found in the upcoming Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem release, which is scheduled to be available in early July 2010. The video AAR focuses on the first moves during the first two days of the campaign in the Eindhoven area, where the Allies fight to secure the bridges and keep open “Hell’s Highway” past Eindhoven so that XXX Corps could move on to the Nijmegen and Arnhem areas.
