Matrix Games and Code Force (www.codeforce.co.nz) are proud to release a promo video detailing the new features and improvements coming in their highly anticipated expansion to the best-selling 4x space strategy game Distant Worlds, entitled Distant Worlds – Return of the Shakturi. The new video, narrated by none other than Distant Worlds’ Lead Designer and Programmer Elliot Gibbs, shows off some of the new interface improvements, a massive new tech tree, and a new behemoth Shakturi warship among a few other things.

With a healthy number of press and developers in attendance, as well as our wonderful staff from around the world, the event was a guaranteed success. Responses from those in attendance and those in the social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and our forums and on other internet sites has been positive, with press sending in requests for more information and access to press packs and trying to get in interview time with our developers and staff!
