Second of Two New Expansions for IL-2 Sturmovik™ from X1 Software are now available! Matrix Games and X1 Software (www.x1software.com) announced today that announced today that The Last Days, the second of two expansions due to release this week for IL-2 Forgotten Battles™, is now available for sale from the Matrix Games website. The Last Days is compatible with the ACE Expansion Pack™ as well as Pacific Fighters™ and can be purchased online from the Matrix Games Online Store.

The Last Days is available by digital download for $19.99 and will be available in a shipped boxed version within two weeks.

The Last Days requires IL-2 Forgotten Battles™ and is compatible with Pacific Fighters™ and the Ace Expansion Pack.  IL-2 Sturmovik™ is a registered trademark of Ubisoft.  Neither of these expansions is officially produced or endorsed by Ubisoft or any other third party.

Tuesday, March 21, 2017

The 1918 Kaiserschlacht (or Spring Offensive) was the last attempt by the German High Command to make a breakthrough in the Western Front.

However, this all-out offensive didn’t gain a decisive victory. The Germans lost irreplaceable veteran troops and the conquest of the new territories resulted in hard to defend positions with a supply line that was stretched too far.
