Build 1268.1 Release Notes (changes from B1267.1)
========================================================================

* NEW FEATURE: Flight plan editor: https://i.imgur.com/98HaD3x.png
This allows you to finetune the flight plan of an air mission in detail. You can set customize waypoint properties, and lock either ETA (throttle/speed will be adjusted accordingly) or speed (ETA will shift) for each waypoint.

* NEW FEATURE: Pools and packages for airops. Summary description and how-to here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vbe06- ... sp=sharing

* New UI / scen-design feature: Generic CSV exporter (From main menu: Missions --> Operation Manager --> Import/Export Tool). This allows exporting various scenario elements (units, missions etc.) in CSV format for easier tracking & comparison: https://i.imgur.com/kJas91N.png . Clicking on "Open Folder" will open the output folder in Windows Explorer.
This is still a WIP so be gentle!

Thanks for these improvement and fixes!

ADDED/TWEAK: Air and Sea Ops status changes trigger Lua events
--
If this is what I think it is (a new unit status change event trigger), that's huge... no more having to poll constantly yourself to track status changes, just to detect change in most cases, no more having to persist that data either, can now just trigger what you need on demand/change sounds like. woohoo!

Just figured out what the implications of this are and yep, brilliant.
I can't actually keep up with rewriting scenarios to adapt. :D

I like very much what I see, but I can't figure out how to open the flight path window. Can someone tell me how?

I'm very happy that CMO AirOps are getting ever closer to Falcon 4.0 genius standards. Keep up the good work.

Now if we could only add ground units as entire (i.e. fully fleshed-out) battalions...

So what's the status with this major 'Tiny' update?

Is it going out of beta tomorrow with Command: Showcase?

Seems odd to me to release new content before the major update overhauling gameplay.

No, for the Showcase release we are using a conservative update based on the previous official release (B1147.xx). It will feature the new DBs but not support their new mechanics.

Okay, seems like a good compromise.

Tomorrow will there be a post how this new Non-Beta Update will work with the 'Tiny' Beta?

Seems like a little potential for overlaps and conflicts, so will there be a new version of the beta patch to install on-top of the Command: Showcase update?

I hope it won't be like the reset of Windows Longhorn. 1268.1 has great features and shows good performance on my machines, despite the issues which are not affecting me serious yet.

"overlaps"

If someone were to purchase CMO from Steam today, what version/build would install? Over in the "aka Tiny" thread, I mentioned I now run 1.05 12651 with my Steam install and it does have intermittent radar. So apparently the "tiny" beta available via Steam did install when I tried without the access code it asked for. Something installed but the messaging never indicated what was installing. "Tiny" is such a major advancement, I want to get this version/build numbering thing straight this time around. Thanks.

If you want to just play the new DLC and have a safe, predictable play experience without any new bugs, but also without any of Tiny's goodies: Stick with the official release branch.

If you are eager to test-drive Tiny and all its benefits and don't mind some new bugs, flaws, odds and ends: Use the public beta branch.

So what are the version and build numbers associated with latest "safe, predictable" branch and the latest "test-drive Tiny" branch for Steam. These numbers are on the developers fingertips I would imagine. If there is a different set of numbers for players you purchased direct from Matrix, please post those numbers too. Thanks.

If its on Steam non-beta build is 1148 now or soon with The official designation as v1.04.114748. If you are on the Steam beta, its 1165.1 in shorthand and official is 1.05.12651. On steam, its simple...release or public version. No other choices.

The non-Steam beta from Matrix is 1168.1

Has anyone been able to find and access the new DLC scenarios as of yet? My install said it was successful, but I can't find the new scenarios anywhere.
