The Hunters from Shifting Sands DLC. Battle of Latakia is a standalone that comes with the game and is much simpler version.

All the First Contact scenarios from the standalone scenarios that come with the game. A series of four that show the transformation of naval warfare.

I sorted Mark Gellis's scenarios by complexity as an index of size and the least complex list is about 20+ scenarios long.

Here are the ones I have played and enjoyed:

Four Ships at Demon point

Frigate Duel in the North Sea

No Time for Mischief

Oyashoi on Patrol

I also started or looked at Boston's Battle/ Brawl and Cape Road.

My mission is to play all I like and win them going through the list. It may take a while.

I have sorted also into 2nd and 3rd tiers of increasing complexity. It is really easy to sort the lists by complexity. Try it.

(Generally, the first scenarios in any of the DLC packs are less complex and thus faster to play.)

Hope this helps.

Was looking for a list of Mark Gellis scenarios.
Couldn't find one, so I made one. See attached.

It's a flat file, ASCII text. All by Mark Gellis
First number Complexity
Second number Difficulty
then the Scenario Title

A page of Python 3 code pulled the elements from the headers of the
Community Scenarios. That's the first 126 lines. I found 8 more
when I cross-checked against early community scenario announcements.

This following statement is no longer operative, consider deleted......
And, I see there is one scenario from back then, that is no longer
in the community scenario collection:
Sawfish and the Shower Posse (February 11, 2014)

Lots of Gellis scenarios for any taste. Enjoy!

I get 135 scenarios using Scen view and searching for Gellis

128 in the community pack, including a Sawfish and the Fast Lady, 2010. The one you cite was changed to this name and year?

1 in the forum still being tested, the recently released The battle of Al Khor, 1995.

And 6 in the Uncle Mark's tutorials category.

Just be a little cognizant of the fact that complexity is an author set number. One person's complex is another person's simple. Its still useful, but don't be surprised if a low complexity scenario ends not be as simple as you expect.

Thanks for the list. Now I just have to figure how to make time to be able to play all these (always the most difficult part of CMO ;) )

Good catch! I've updated the ASCII file.
BTW, scenario renaming also happened with:
Texas Crow --> Operation Texas Crow
That one I caught.

I fired up CMANO Scen View. It scans much like the Python 3 code I wrote.
But Scen View doesn't detect those 8 scenarios that I found by scraping the
community scenario announcements. Those scenarios, for some reason, don't
have 'Gellis' in the scenario header.

ASCII file just covers community scenarios. So 126 + 8 there.

I think Mark is beating me in the scenario count by a good margin. Could you check the # for me as well - off topic I know and apologize...

68 Furies right now, though more are in the forum ;)

45 Northern

3 Baltic

5 Caribbean

5 Indian

5 Mediterranean

5 Pacific

In the forum 2 more Indian, 2 more Baltic and 1 more Pacific, so 73 Furies.

And 6 Strike Tutorials.

In all I count 79 scenarios. Is it right?

If you search for Gauvin, there are less in the CP. You forgot your name in:

Baltic 1,3

Pacific, all the 5.

I think that sounds about right. Thank you.

I'll add my name to those on my next tidy-up

Cheers - and well done to Mark, I don't think I'll ever catch that number!

Ah, I forgot about the 4x Ukraine No Fly zone scenarios which are not in the CSP yet. Also have the 5 LIVE scenarios but they don't fit the category. Still no where near Mark
