hi! just a half-time report of my games with Forwan45 (hope u dont mind i publish this brief AAR). we have both games in progress and its around su/fa 44 (should reach '45 by now if not the hotmail/ aol server probelm that put us out of contact since last Sat, wish Forwan45 rec'd my turns by now ...) My Axis round my plan is to grab an AV by Wi43 and leave the russians untouched. i did manage to break thro' suez and over-run india. but the best i could get was ~65 PP b4 the russians came and kick the axis' ass hard. should get it closer to 70PP if not the reverse lend-lease incident in middle-east and i forgot to account for the supply for partisan in PRC .... long story. by su44, the germans is down to ~15PP (?) but got a sizable panzer army (10+ ? cant remember ...) the IJN is still doing fine (w/ 26PP) as there were no allied transports in the pacific, except 2 in the port of NZ and those in the ports of west coast. and the allied transports were down to 15 for the past two turns but the down size is that the allied nuclear bomb is almost ready (9 attack now ) good planning pays off ... My Allied turn russia got a really early attack in fa41 but despite some early defeats, russia managed to hold the moscow-karknov line and with the help of allied d-day in su43, the tide turned to the allied. by su44, the axis only held italy and w + e germany and down to only 1 panzer but still got a strong defending force ... in the pacific, we both played transports hunting game ... but with my 7 CVs against IJN's 3CVs (yes, 3 as i just sank 2 CVs in my last turn) the allied also managed to blow up some of IJN's resources on a regular basis but its just too early for the allied to start invading tokoyo ... be honest i think both games may extend beyond '46 so its just our half-time report ... Forwan45, feel free to beef-up the AAR, esp if u find that its too one-sided ... AN
