Status: offline 		Just got in and found Supremacy in the New Releases and immmediately purchased it. I then remembered Digital Rivers' little funny last time so...Am i dd'ing the real game? I hope i didn't jump the gun. I've got a serial # albeit a unique one.

Status: offline 		There must be alot of people downloading as my running somewhat slower by about 10 to 15 kb/sec.
halfway through the download now and I should have it in about an 50 minutes.

The price is nice.

Status: online 		Bandwidth for these goes through Digital River and they have more than we can ever hope to have. We've never had a bandwidth issue with them before and I just did a test download at excellent speed. I'll try to find out why some of you are experiencing slow downloads, but at this point it will have to wait until tomorrow morning, sorry.

from the beginning. But the download speed with only 12KB/sec and drop me out
every 10 minute

Status: offline 		Digital River need to sort this. I lost the download overnight and started again this morning (0800 GMT), its still struggling to reach 10 kB/sec.


Lost it again after 12 meg Will try again this evening.

Status: offline 		Just as a sidenote. If you have troubles downloading large files then we suggest you use a download client like "Stardownloader" available for free from www.stardownloader.com . It will let you resume disconnected or broken downloads. You can even pause them and resume them whenever you want.

Odd. I'm trying again, with exactly the same results (currently around 8kB/sec, although at least the connection seems stable). I downloaded Flashpoint Germany a few weeks ago with no trouble at all, and I've had no hardware, relevant software or connection changes since that time other than doubling my ADSL speed.

Status: online 		Still trying to find out what's going on there. We can't duplicate the problem. Are customers other than Hertston still seeing this? My test downloads from their site are zipping right along. We'll keep investigating until we turn something up.

Status: offline 		I'll say this: my dd was much slower than any previous dd. DSL @74kb/sec took a good 90 minutes, didn't think much about it at the time.

I will try again over Friday night, and it will no doubt get there in time, but I'm very puzzled if most people have had no trouble.

If it helps, I tried to re-download FPG and got exactly the same result, so the current problem isn't limited to Supremacy. As a control, I tried a download from Fileplanet (West Coast) and that was fine. If there's anything else I can do to pin down the problem, please let me know.

Status: offline 		Not much point, as its now downloading at 200kB/sec !

The only thing different between now and previous attempts was that (after working my way through assorted firewall settings, disabling MS anti-spyware, and anything else faintly relevant that I could think of)was that I turned off AVG anti-virus (with everything else re-enabled). It seems unlikely that was the problem, though... perhaps more likely is that the timing was co-incidental and the problem was either resolved at DR or it was something else altogether. I don't know, but it might be something to put on the list of possibilities if the trouble ever re-occurs.

Looking forward to putting the Caesar beta aside for a short while and trying this out in, well, 21 minutes or so.

Status: offline 		Tried d/l last night. only got 15k a sec, then showed completed at 136mb. When I clicked on the .exe file a message came up saying file corrupted etc. Now I can't log back in to try and d/l again. It won't recognise any of my details
