Ok guys..I finally was able to get past the re-registration block on the members download page and downloaded the 77 mb patch only to find out that the zip file was corrupted.

Any ideas?

I was able to download and install the short version of the patch with no problem..but the long version is corrupt and I can't open.

You probably had the download abort and do not have the whole file.

I had the same thing happen to me when I downloaded the comprehensive version from the "Members" area but when I downloaded it just from the "Downloads" area I had no problem. I also noted about the Members area download was smaller than the one from the Downloads area.

And no, Mr. Frag, I didn't not abort the download. The incremental one from the Members area was okay for me.

Not implying that *you* stopped the download. There are a million and one different reasons for internet traffic to abort. All it takes is one of them and you have a corrupt file.

I tried this again and it has stopped in the identical place as it did before. it seems I am not the only one having this problem. Theres another thread here having the same problems as I am.

Try cleaning your download cache / TEMP folder too etc. Windows sometimes has the wierd habit to break of the downloads at the very same point the first was cancelled.
