German Equipment at Berlin Technik Museum, and One Unlabeled Merlin Engine

Post by cfulbright »

I happened to be in Berlin this week for work, and had a few afternoon, so I went to the Technikmuseum. They had a great collection of German WWII aircraft, but also a Rolls Royce Merlin engine with no label or description, even though it may have won the war, certainly the air war!

Here are some shots I took, hope you enjoy them.

Really nice shots, thanks for posting. Have you visited the German-Russo war museum in Berlin? I was there a couple of months ago and they had a very nice collection of Soviet tanks, artillery and AT guns on display among other things. Would recommend you to visit.

I wish I had known about it! Not sure if or when I will get back to Berlin.
