Advance After Combat and Stacking

Post by canuckgamer »

Let's say I have three stacks of units begin the planning phased adjacent to an enemy occupied hex. I assume I can attack with the units from all three stacks. If I chose an Assault attack and won how does the program determine which units advance in to the hex considering the maximum stacking is 8? Thanks.

Hi,
The stack with the biggest attack will advance. If there is still space available in the destination hex, other
units from the other stacks will also advance.

Sorry, I didn't make my question very clear. It is a single attack against one hex from three hexes of friendly units.

Ah, I see.
Yes, if they all start the turn adjacent to the enemy and attack, then all 3 stacks are combined into 1 attack.

If 3 stacks are moving and attack, they might or might not be combined. Depends on the timing of when they arrive.
Cheers,
Brian
