Haven't seen anything posted on this yet. I apologize if it has already been mentioned but it's pretty exciting news to me. Rule the Waves 2 is projected to come out in March of this year. I'm very much looking forward to it as it's been one of my favorite games for the past couple years. More info here for anyone interested:

Generally I'm not into naval warfare but this does look interesting. Anybody have any idea which nations will be covered?

Britain, France, Italy, the US, Japan and Germany. I think there are 2 slots for Custom built countries. The graphics are basic, but the content far from lacking depth. I've played RTW I enjoyed that even though I don't particularly like the time frame (1900-1925).

Reading this news about RTW 2 has inspired to reinstall the first Rule The Waves. I bought it a few years ago and sort of forgot about it. I must say it is a lot of fun. Designing warships is the best part of the game for me and so RTW 2 will be an instabuy when released not least because I find the WW2 era more interesting than the 1900-1925 era.

I saw generals create imaginary "masses of manoeuvre" with a crayon and dispose of enemy concentrations, that were on the ground and on the map, with an eraser. Who was I to criticise them, hero as I was of a hundred "Chinagraph wars" of make-believe?
