Hi

I had noticed that back in 2016 work had stopped on the Warhammer 40K mod and over time the links had disappeared from dropbox. I noted that a number of people liked the mod and wished it was still in development.

As the original developer has stopped work on the mod and given permission for someone else to develop it I have just released Version 14 of Warhammer 40K and I am looking for testers to let me know of any issues that are still there. I have fixed a number of issues already but please consider Version 14 to be a beta at this stage and issues may happen.

You can find the mod in the modding section. If you can leave any issues you find in the relevant modding forum section I will get them fixed and push out patches as they are fixed.

Warhammer 40K is already slated for additional content to be added as per the original developers notes.

Warhammer is back from the dead!

Thanks for that..... I want to find out if the mod crashes to desktop and if so was anything specific happening at the time. For the mod to crash to menu would be one thing but I want to see if the mod crashes Distant Worlds Universe itself as a CTD suggests.

I had a look and the original developer had not put Sly Marbo in the mod.....
But the good thing with modding is that there is no reason why he and the Catachan Devils cannot be added in to the mod down the track.

My thoughts are that the Catachan Devils would be ideal as pirates with my changing the pirate term for the mod to another name such as ... well.... Tempestus Scions.

The Tempestus Scions would consist of the following:

5.1 Kasrkin
5.2 Catachan Devil Squads
5.3 Inquisitorial Storm Troopers
5.4 Death Korps Grenadiers
5.5 Kill Squad Troopers
5.6 Ork Hunter Firesweep Teams
5.7 Steel Legion Storm Troopers

Besides it would be great to add John Rambo in to the mod.
