HPS Panzer Campaigns sound issue

Tried re-installing S41 on the same pc it ran fine on, but now the sound doesn't work *after* installing the update for the game. Sound does work *before* installing the patch.
Anyone heard of this problem before; google comes up empty.

Which update did you use?

The latest ‘Gold’ patch does not work on the HPS version.

If you have the HPS version and you want to upgrade, you have to contact JTS support.

It's the update from the HPS site, and I have contacted HPS.

HPS no longer has the latest upgrades. I have many HPS games, contacted JTS sent tem pictures of my games and they in turn will send you upgrade code registration so that you can get the latest upgrades from JTS.

Hmmm.......the patch number on both sites is the same......1.16. I'm not talking about the gold "update". I have no interest in those, but the game patch.

Then try HPS as you have I updated all my games through them until they stopped handling the latest updates. I only update games with JTS if a game has been updated since the last listed HPS listed update version.

I suppose if HPS can't help you, you could make contact with support at JTS to see if they can, nothing to lose by trying anyway.

The extra zoom level alone makes the games much more playable to me.
Plus extra scenarios.
I don't understand why you would not be interested..

Correct, I was able to upgrade all my HPS to Gold freely just by contacting JTS support.
The extra zoom is indeed a very well done addition.

Just sent them an email myself, as I only have the original which I bought when it first came out years ago.
