Nukes, chemicals and the enemy AI.

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Nukes, chemicals and the enemy AI.

Post by Deathtreader »

Hi,

For SS is there a plan to allow the enemy AI to use nukes and chemical weapons? It would be a bear to code I'm sure....

Maybe tie it into the loss/capture of a critical location(s) to help the enemy AI to reasonably determine when to use it. Or allow it to be used when enemy AI casualties reach a certain threshold or a low probability event on any turn until something like location/casualties or whatever trigger a high probability it will be used. Will certainly add spice for players!!!

Just a thought.....[&o]

It was Soviet doctrine to have gas/Bio shells mixed in their arty strikes on NATO positions. That is why we in the British army were always in NBC state 3 on exercises (that is nbc jacket and trousers. 2 was boots and gloves and 1 was full masked up).
