What's with the "no deep raids" rule? Would that handicap the early pocketing moves that HLYA has pioneered?

For those who find this opening familiar, don't get confused. Hardluck is NOT Axis in this game[:D] Yeah he should get credit because my T1 moves are largely inspired by reading his very detailed and informative AARs. A recommendation for every WITE player.

@HardLuckYetAgain

You'll probably get me by not sending Soviet airforce to reserve and immediately striking back, because I'm totally unprepared for that. I took it for granted that Axis T1 air raid would paralyze Soviet airforces. But come to think of it they'll still have several thousand planes... I'll start reviewing the Managing the Air guide by Telemecus(another recommendation read!), because it appears I need to save planes in this game right from T1.

I have better confidence in the pockets. They are supposed to be watertight and impossible to break...unless Soviet commander spends too long a time in researching the pics[:'(]

I think I see what you see but I don't know if your question is rhetorical and I don't want to be accused of trying to play someone's game for them here if that's not appropriate.

I'm guessing that you're going to say that the blue circles show a lot of units west, and that your opponent tried pretty hard to crush down the pocket on turn one. You did that too but you didn't have anywhere near the number of units back there. Perhaps you are seeing implications of that but if so I look forward to hearing them.

The way this has been conducted is just generally different from the way you conducted the same thing your "extermination" AAR.
