Thanks Red for posting. Is this similar to the Walker game from Stalingrad? Plus, the mods used in that game?

We've been waiting over two years for a Command Ops 2 patch. I love the game, but the publisher support is disgraceful.

Well, maybe it's because they're working on these games, which would make me feel a whole lot better about LnL.

Yeah LnL support is at times "late".

Don´t think it will be like HoS, as It will not have hidden counters. From what I gather, its going to be a digital copy of there boardgame LnL Tactical series (v5 rule-set) with AI and the ability to buy modules and add on to the base game. Will post as soon as I know more...

Overall I like the Idea, Iam just curious to see how they will market the additional modules.

As far as I can tell these are seperate dev teams and LnL is the publisher for both. CO2 will also get an upgrade to its engine when the patch is released. Check the SITREP thread in their forum at LnL for details about the long delay.

Two completely separate dev teams.

Command Ops are the Panther Games guys out of Australia.

LNLT Digital is being done by a totally different group

Well, the LNL digital version, i refer the new one not HOS, is now with the... 2nd or 3rd dev team, was anounced 4 years ago but development was in the same way than HOS.

LNL has a serious problem with the digital part of their business, i allways have the impresion they dont are totally into digital because they have interesting products to port for a digital market but they are unable to do it ok.

PD: something i miss in the LNL digital is skirmish mode and an easy to use editor, HOS editor was very painfull to use.

Wargamer article...

https://www.wargamer.com/articles/lock-n-load-tactical-digital-nations-at-war-lock-n-load-publishing/

A bit more info... Base game will be free as a "starter-kit" (similar to the PnP) with 4 scenarios. Modules will be sold separately at $-25-30.

Biggest problem is there past has and play method. Big upgrade free but you must pay for each module you own to be upgraded to play on that patch. Basically paying twice.

If they use FOGII model if they use Payforpatchesfront they can burn in hell forever

A good marketing could help a lot game like buy more than 1 module and you get 5% discount for every extra module you buy (you buy 3 you have 5%+5%=10% in 3 modules) and well price is a great point to.

Here i am a little because i dont see in videos any skirmish mode that was the core feature for me when they anounce the game years ago.
