What if

someone would add units, or modify devices, or anything similar, to a scenario, and try to apply those modifications to an ongoing game ?

shall they be received or rejected?

And , additional problem;

suppose the on going game was with scenario 1 ("Stock");
and suppose I'd like to modify the scenario which ,as I understand , MUST take a different number (higher than don't remember what number);

does it mean I will never be able to apply changes in that game (regarding devices and units)?

As far as I know, once a game is started it has all the databases from the Editor in play. This at least is my recollection.

Suppose you are playing Game 23 and decide to add a unit. Once you edit and save Same 23, you are back to Turn 1 with that unit now part of the game. Any turns you played before editing are gone.

You can save the edit to a new Game Slot if you want to save the original Game 23, but the new game will start at Turn 1.

Modifications made to units during a game will only appear on units that are not yet in play. So if you modify a unit that is currently on the map you will have to do a restart of this scenario in order to have the benefits of those changes....GP

You can add models of airplanes which date of starting production is noy over yet.

You can't add more ships.

You can't add more air groups.

I think you can modify ships classes which are not active ( upgrades ).

You can modify new LCUs which are not in game.

HINT: You can add airplanes to an incoming LCU ( ie: convoys at Cape Town ) which disbands, sending the planes to the pool.
