Hi, just wanted to look up something in one of the old Pelton AARs but many seem to be gone (maybe of other authors too), while other old AARs (also some from Pelton) are still there. Is there something I do wrong or were they deleted?
Yes, I have selected "All topics", not just "last 365 days". Or is my memory wrong?

(I do not want to awake sleeping dragons here, feel free to lock/delete if necessary).

Think they have just timed out....if you look only stuff from 2017 is still on the last page of the AAR....over time they drop off if they arent stickied.

Thank you for your reply chaos. Please turn your forum page to "All topics", then follow this link:

It should bring you to the AARs.
But I recall there were many more?

What happened was Pelton referenced a great many AARs in a post and those AARs were removed right before he was perma banned. That is what happened since there is no time out at all on the forum here.

Removed, or just made not visible/accessable any longer.

Awesome, I thought after 3-4 pages things just got deleted to save space on the server lol.

Prolly a ton of super old games I never took a look at as I never looked past what was shown all these years.

Thank you for your explanation HLYA, that answers my question.

Glad I have opened up a new universe of AARs for you chaos45 by my question

I really like that Matrix does not delete old things and has no timeout (in general very good company ). If I ever come to make an AAR again I will upload the pictures here because I have made very bad experiences with image hosters.

The forum is very good, the old style ensures short loading times (I hate websites where eye candy distracts from the content). Only critic points are the too small PM storage and the not-so-well working search function.

I still can see 15 Pelton AARs. Not sure how many there were in the beginning...

Yup, there were a great many more that are not there. Plus also realize that Pelton always had pro-German settings for almost all of his games the last year or so (i.e. mild blizzard, no +1 Soviet). If you go back you can see how he progressed through his WITE experience when he first showed up to when he was banned. Some pretty decent reads but the ruleset is a bit different now then what it was then.

That's what I've been wondering, given the many updates over the years are the older AARs really worth the time to read them.
