Land moves

ComChi adjust line.
NatChi adjust line.
USSR adjust line (and retreats).

Rebase
CW fighter from TRS to Aden.
USSR TB-3 to middle of line to cover entire front, FTR in Manchuria one hex east, FTR from Gomel on hex east.

Weather stays nice.

Back to the Axis.

USSR at the start of Axis impulse 3.

The plan is working, I bet Germany falls into out trap and advances east even if they stop and wait for next summer...

Land: Germany, Japan
Combined: Italy
Naval:

No port strikes. No naval air.

TRS + CA (Alexandria) -> Italian Coast 0-box - TRS embark German MIL (La Spezia).

No naval combat. No strategic bombing.

Japan ground strikes the Vladivostok defenders with a CV (1 strength).

Germany ground strikes the Soviet 33rd Infantry in the marches with one Stuka (5 strength).

Edit: Forgot to mention the German ground strike.

Field Marshal von Leeb orders his Army Group to concentrate on the encircled Soviet 33rd Army. However, Generalleutnant Rommel see an opportunity to advance towards Kalinin, and refuse to stop to clear up enemy pockets, so his 4 divisions of the 4th Panzer Group advance far ahead of the main Army.

No rail movement.

Land Movement:

Germany:

Almost all German land units in USSR fall into the trap and moves eastwards.

Among the German moves are the following;
- The INF in the Alps reach La Spezia.
- The MIL in Hamburg reach the Danish border.
- Capture Smolensk.
- Liberate Damietta.
- Move garrisons into La Rochelle, and St-Nazaire.
- Relocate GARR in Denmark.
- AA move to Brussels.

The isolated Soviet 33rd Army can get defensive air support, but since is Odds is 49:2, or automatic, even with it.

naval moves:
US cp to E Pacific, S Pacific, and E Polynesia.

ground strike. TB-3 flies to 7-6 ARM north of Kalinin on a daring mission. I assume Macchi will intercept - the main question is where to return Macchi after it shoots down the TB-3?

The fearless TB-3 pilots wing in to strike the advanced panzer columns but unfortunately Italian air force Macchi's respond in large numbers and the TB-3 wing takes devastating losses. Most of the planes and pilots lie burning in the forested area near Kalinin. Some small revenge is exacted by the TB-3 gunners as the Macchi's also take losses. 6BP down for SU, 2 BP of semi-useless fighters down for IT. Not really a good exchange for the Reds as a very valuable air wing is lost. :(

At the end of last turn USSR had 19 oils (saved at start) and USSR saved 8 more. Now USSR has 25 saved oils. Also 4 oils were supposed to save to Archangel, none was saved. There are still 4 oils as before. Did I miss something?
