Luftwaffe FD won't disband 1943

Post by xhoel »

I am fiddling around with the 43-45 GC scenario and I noticed that the LW Field Divisions cannot be disbanded. Is there any reason for this?
Best regards,
Xh

They can't be manually disbanded if an enemy is close or if they have a withdraw/disband date set.

Hey Denniss, thanks for the quick reply. I can see that most of them disband in 1944 which is quite a bummer, I am in dire need of manpower rn and the LW Field Divisions are the worst combat units I have in stock. Is this the same in the 41-45 GC or is there a possibility to diband them in that case? Thanks again!

put them on low TOE and use them as rear guards fighting partisans. it's not possible to disband them earlier than their historical disband. They do get an improved TOE/OB in later 43 or early 44.

I did put them on low TOE but their ''real TOE'' shows no change whatsoever. I put one of them to 20% and the other one to 50%. Both are on a reilhead and away from the enemy yet the TOE stays the same. Am I missing something? Thanks again for your help Denniss.

This is a maxTOE seting so they won't get replacements. In 11/43 a more standard infantry TOE/OB should kick in
