I don't know why I thought this would be fun but I compared some of my old matrix receipts with the current holiday sale. I stopped after the difference passed $325;there were more but it wasn't fun anymore I might be able to hit $500.

Not complaining as lot of the games are older and I like shiny new things but they have a price.

If I never bought a Matrix game until today's sale, I would have saved at least $2,045.

However, that would mean 15 years of no gaming. In addition, as I am now 61 years old, if I bought everything today, I would most likely be dead before playing every game a decent amount. This does not include WitP AE

Bottom line is that it was a worthwhile investment that cost me less money than 10 minutes in the emergency room without insurance!

Agreed it was well worth it but it was interesting to see the old pricing... I even forgot...some had 'download insurance'.

It's probably true, that when it comes to "why did I buy that?", wargames is in the top 3 categories of "I wish I could go back in time and stop me", but it's at least not number 1 :)

That would belong to role gaming purchases.
I'm not sure who owns #2. Toss up between jewelry, electronics and some forms of military reference.

I do the same thing at times and then I stop myself. $30.00 for a game is a few movies, beer, soda and other crap that you never see again. I do this with my Direct tv, but I use it.

I'm 71 and most certainly don't intend to go before I've played and won every game I own. The problem there is, I would have to be immortal for the win caveat to be fulfilled and even then it would be a stretch.

i bought games for PCs since i was 17; now am almost 50 (in 3 months) and seriously; how can they do¡..never explain how can Matrix do so cheap games with the effort-historical they made.

when uncommon valor became a master-game in 2002 of Matrix Games (38835 richmon avenue suite 192 Staten island New York 10312) i had no money but i went to a shop of warhammer-friend and told him¡; YOU MUST BUY ME THIS GAME..i will pay you later on.

10.000 de las antiguas pesetas...(about 60 box now)..so explain me MATRIX¡ now; why is the same 15 years later., if not for the sales.
