Thanks! I'll keep playing around with it, like you said, it wasn't built for my settings but the window is bigger now.

as long as it's makes it more playable and larger, then that's a good direction, good luck

atm nothing altered on the shortcut either, so a fresh clean start with nothing what so ever altered in it, just to see what it looks like and how windows 10 reacts etc

5, straight away, you can't alt tab in and out of the game as normal, as again it makes the game screen go green

so altered in game options only atm so to show clouds and also use windows mode, then at least i can screenshot without restarting the game every frame

6, windows mode isn't as i'd hoped either, so a solution to screenshots causes other problems in windows 10, so changed it back to full screen and will now alter the shortcut instead and try that approach

only issue i ran into is mentioned above and afterwards, i couldn't uninstall it either, had to manually delete folder and run a system cleaner to remove all the files for some reason, then again it's not the first, as it's a Vista aged game etc, so some quirks happen, but didn't stop the game from working and playing as shown

Hi zakblood, thanks for testing!
One question: I run the game in windowed mode annd want to change the quite small box to a bigger size. That worked well with the previous version, I remember there was a description in the readme file how to do it (add to the shortcut the preferred screen size...). Got a new computer now, and don't know how to do it any more, the new readme file does'nt contain that info either. Is it still possible? If yes - could you please describe how to do it? Thanks!

Works the same for me in windows 10 in windows mode, what did the patch change?
I can actually move the window now, don't think I could do that before the patch
Also, the screen does occasionally blackout with playing AI vs AI.

The only thing that might effect the way the game displays is the code was recompiled under VS2010 whereas the previous version was VS2003 IDE.
Not sure if this makes a difference?

as long as both the 32bit and 64bit version of both are installed on the pc, i can't say it would effect anything on a 64 bit pc, as both would be needed, on a 32 bit o/s only the 32 bit VS2010 / VS2003 IDE pre requisites would be needed i'd guess

so i'g also guess i'm covered, so not seen the issues either

windows 10 creators update uses also need to install a addon for some older games, i also disable the gaming mode, but others use it fine, so your call

as again Drx 9 doesn't come as standard in windows 10 either, but with either 11 or 12 DirectX Version: DirectX 12
