Hi, im very new to WitW and i am trying to get to grips playing the axis forces. I am currently playing a game with the EF box on and in the manual it says ¨If the Eastern Front Control Option is enabled, there will be no automatic German withdrawals reflected in the Reinforcement and Withdrawal screen.¨ What exactly does that mean? In the withdrawal and reinforcements report i see certain units in red with East Front next to them, i assume they are automatically sent to the east. Just want some clarifaction on the matter, hoping to understand the EF box better.

In non-EFB games you'll have mutliple units withdraw to fight in the East. In EFB games it's up to you to move them into or out of the EFB, any unit withdraw set up in the scenario will be disabled.
Units marked with red actually arrive in the EFB, not on-map.

When you have EF Box off, some of your units in West are automatically sent to Eastern Front at planned dates.
With EF Box on, you have full control on these transfers.

As a consequence, you only receive new units when they are created : some of them are made available to you directly, and some are sent to Eastern Front (those marked in red).
Note that you can still control these units via the EF Box.
Also note that it means that there are very few withdrawals, as you will find your units to be either on the map on in the EF Box

Thanks for the quick replies. So in summary its up to me to make my own withdrawal and arrival schedule (excluding newly created units).

Yes, exactly. But be aware that it cost quite a lot of Admin points of which you are usually in short supply.
