He served as signalmen for the Royal Navy. He then moved on to serve in the N. Atlantic convoys. It is moving to see tears in his eyes after all these years.

97 years old. Sadly, we are approaching the day when no one who fought in WWII will be still alive...

Edit: he says "It was like being there again". WOT? No rumblings because Tank Girl was not portrayed? Stunning...
