Looks gorgeous actually. I had not heard of the Dam Buster release either.

I like the notion of deliberately made solitaire. No need for an opponent, you simply play the game. I have Patton's Best and I think it is one of the better uses of gaming dollars I have made over the years.

Chances are I might take a walk out there into the realm of online board gaming companies web sites and see what I am likely unaware of.

Glad you like it! I was waiting for this one since it became P-500 on GMT, and now it´s officialy available for all.

My local games shop has it on sale here in Spain so I order it today, will have it at home next week. Will have to think about something else for Christmas! Maybe "Target for Today", another goodie!

@MrsWargamer
Some more great solo titles...

- A classic would be most of DVG´s "Leader" series:
http://www.mcssl.com/store/danverssengames/tabletop-games/solitaire

- A recent remake of the classic "B-17 Queen of the Skies", now called "Target for Today":
http://www.stevenkdixon.com/tft.htm

- Another classic, "RAF Battle of Britain":
https://shop.decisiongames.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=1019

- Great game, "D-Day at Omaha Beach":
https://shop.decisiongames.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=1018

There´s plenty more but these are good start´s.

Thanks Red. Pricey as hell, but ain't that the way of it these days eh.

Oh well, I'm an ASL veteran, anything under 100 bucks is 'cheap' :)

Your welcome!

Yes I was about to mention the pricey thing, but then this hobby is sometimes very expensive. I did pick up ECA Doolittle Raid for €63 post incl. so it´s not that bad. I have even bought games on BGG quite cheap to be honest, including some out of print ones. You do have to shop around a bit.

I was thinking getting "The Doolittle Raid" as I enjoyed playing "The Dambuster Raid".
The issue is that GMT released this month a lot of "hot" releases.
So I had to opt. I've ordered "Fields of Fire (2nd Edition)", "Holland '44" and "Unconditional Surrender (2nd Edition)".
Eventually, I'll end up in getting the "Doolittle Raid"... but not in the near future.
