This game looks like it's going to let you be anywhere from a private all the way up to a General in command like Norbsofts Civilwar series only more detailed depth.

Multiplayer games are great depending on how they are set up. I played Everquest for 7 years, DDO for 7 years and Neverwinter currently as well as LOTRO. I however HATE real time war games as there is no real strategy just click fest to make quickest unit to build and swarm the other guy. I did like Games that let you have turn based on builds and strategy but fight the individual battles in real time if you want.
Favoritism is alive and well here.

But, afterall the civilwar wasn't played in turns. This looks to make it real and it doesn't look that rtsey so far. Even makes you take time to load your musket. Looks like fun and nobody hates multiplayer and rts more than me I don't think.[:)]

Have I ever wanted to be in the Civil War?

Not really, but had I been born in those times I would definitely have been a Royalist supporting Cavalier and not a Cromwellian Roundhead [:)].

I am doubtful that you would have had a real choice in the matter.

Interesting. [:)]

Although I think it would be even more interesting to hear what side you would have picked during The Anarchy. Stephen of Blois or Matilda?

No I suspect not. If I was born in the early 17th Century as I was in the mid/late 20th (in terms of social status) then maybe I would have been a Roundhead, but let's hope not eh? [:)]

Cromwell was such a boring $^& [:D]
