Leaders?

The sequel of the legendary wargame with a complete graphics and interface overhaul, major new gameplay and design features such as full naval combat modelling, improved supply handling, numerous increases to scenario parameters to better support large scenarios, and integrated PBEM++.

I can't remember but are leaders modelled at all in the game?

Not at all.

Edit: wouldn`t make much sense tough, since in these kind of games the player is pretty much God.

No leaders per se, although the scenario designer has a lot of flexibility in setting up the details of Headquarters units, so it is possible to use that to simulate leadership effects.

In TOAW III already in many scenarios had HQs with leader-names. It was for flavor only though.

There are two units that can be used for this purpose, HQ units and Supply units. Both give benefits to nearby units and either can be used to represent the positive [or negative] effects of leaders. They can be named whatever the designer wants to name them.

I would like to see the following in wargames:

Leader "A" is renowned to be good on the defence. Any unit within his command range receives a defence bonus.

Leader "B" is renowned to be good on the attack. Any unit within his command range receives an attack bonus.

A unit can only be within command range of one commander at a time.

I don't think you can change chain of command / OOB in TOAW series.
X-ray sees it through.
