Mayhemizer vs AllenK: The resurrection!

Post by Mayhemizer_slith »

Hello all!

Me and AllenK are starting two player game. Optional rules are almost same as before, but unlimited break down is removed.

House Rules:
-We are playing with the en-route interception as we played in our 4 player games.
-Only strategic bombing allowed as a night mission (all other missions must be performed by day).

Question to AllenK: Should we have some kind pact between USSR and Japan (based only on garrison with same modifiers as USSR and Germany)?

Here are our optional rules.

Edit: removed limited supply across straits and added house rule for night missions.

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

Based upon intelligence reports on Soviet deployments, the Japanese conclude a pact will not be necessary for their interests at this present moment in time.

The Italian embassy in London reports rumours of the departure of an HQ with substantive armoured elements and unconfirmed additional supporting units for the Middle East. Egyptian reserves are believed to be mobilising.

The Italian press trumpet this blatant example of Commonwealth imperialist expansionism and announce the sending of a peacekeeping force in order to ensure "strong and stable" governance for the region.

Mindful of the Anglo-French pact, the remainder of the army is deployed to the French border as a precautionary measure.

CW convoys in picture. All factories are running, 6 oils are saved.

Everyone are interested, so here it comes:

Transporters are in following locations
TRS in Alexandria, Egypt (with ARM HQ, TER and AA gun)
2x TRS in Liverpool, UK (with HQ and MECH)
The Queens in Belfast, UK (with TER)

I like the strong defense of Chengchow. Ever since the new map came out, I have felt that if the Nationalists don't defend Chengchow strongly, the Japanese will run the Communists right off the map.
I thought I knew how to play this game....

I like the 2pt CAV corp SW of Hangchow. My opponent in the game I am currently playing did the same thing, and it was a pain for the Japs. The corp is adjacent to the weather boundry[:@] I think this will become an automatic placement for most MWiF games.
Conflict with the unexpected: two qualities are indispensable; first, an intellect which, even in the midst of this obscurity, is not without some traces of inner light which lead to the truth; second, the courage to follow this faint light. KvC

This is not my own idea, I saw someone doing it in some AAR and I thought it will cause some trouble [:)]

Yes, I used that too - but I too cannot take the credit. I copied it from that wily ol' fox Ormster - a formidable war gamer indeed [&o].

Polish set up is ready. Germany rolled 10 after DoW.

I like German set up, there is one INF div in Kiel. Interesting to see what happens. Germany has 14 (one MECH, no ARM) corps and two artillery attacking to Poland. So Poland decides to fight back with all they have (except planes of course).
