I was wondering, although for now won't be able to expand on this idea, if it would be possible to get some information passed into the event that is called after each move or activity. Namely event #45 in NewDawn (set by rulevar 843.
In particular, I was thinking the "moved to" hex that triggers the event. I was thinking that this was a away to maybe add some of the features of Lancer's "Enhanced AI Mod" dynamically. Namely, a means to intercept naval forces with air or other naval forces. Ideally, it would be nice to have an intercept feature in the engine, like what is there for air forces, but this could be a stopgap that wouldn't require a house rule to stop for a turn. Obviously, it has to be thought out carefully so as to not be a CPU burden between moves. Just a thought.
