Noob needs help with editor

I'm trying to change the end date of the Marianas scenario.
In the editor and can't figure out how to change that....can it be done?
I would think so but can someone help?

First you need to save the scenario in a slot from 026 on up. Then you should be able to change the date....GP

No can do. I had the same idea and tried to change the dates but could not.
It really annoyed me because there were units and ships listed as arriving several months later when the scenario suddenly ended (IIRC in August 44).
Misled by the ship/unit arrival info, my Saipan invasion force was about three hexes from the target![:@] I had taken the time to secure Pagan and use its air base to pound Saipan and Tinian and stop aircraft coming from Iwo Jima. It also helped keep IJN subs at bay.

Must be done BEFORE the start of the campaign.

Load the scenario 11 into the editor, go to the "Scenario" tab and change the "Turns" from the default value = 75 to whatever you want - I have doubled the time by allocating 150 turns.

Then save as a different scenario number (in my example 31).

Starting the scenario 31, the preferences screen now says "ends about 18 Oct 44" instead of "ends about 4 Aug 1944" as in scenario 11.

D'oh! I was trying to find a way to change the end date, but never thought about changing the turn count! Thanks LST!

Confirmed this works I added some turns too Silver scen and it shows up now ending later.
