It would have to be a plane with fixed landing pylon landing gear, such as the D3A1 or D3A2.

Wow, that barely scratched the paint. It seems almost paradoxical in some ways, but if it had managed to hit (it wouldn't have) a modern naval vessel it would have done a lot more damage. I miss armored warships.
