ROF and Accuracy

Post by MrBlizzard »

It seems that there's always a discordance between ROF and ACC data reported in the ground element screen.
In the example:
in the left column
acc = 500
rof = 15
in the summary at the bottom
acc = 800
rof = 10

This is affected by device mount modifiers.

does it mean that - in the example - this gun has greater rate of fire (15) and smaller acc (500) when mounted on panzer IIIh ?

Numbers at the bottom are correct. I will perhaps apply the same modifier to the numbers above them, to prevent confusion. Check the element in the editor to see modifiers.

One stupid question, but.. how do you get the "ground element compare" screen [:D] ? Never saw it before.

it's a secret screen [:-]
Look at the picture posted, you can see in the background the page of the commander's report you can accede from.
You simply have to click on the name of a device and this screen will open

No, that's the theoretical capability of the gun. The gun sights in a tank add additional accuracy but the turret installation with limited space to handle ammunition lets it lose RoF - this is what the bottome values represent.
