Yes you can.

But you can be blocked if an ennemy unit not adjacent to the port have a zone of control on the water movement path.

Air mission interdiction are deadly against naval transport. An ennemy in multiplayer can put an airfield with stukha close to the port you want to evacuate and you will have thgousands of death by drowning.

One more question: When does a harbour which is in supply stops supplying other harbours by sea?
1) When there is no ZOC free route?
2) When the harbour itself is in ZOC?

Very difficult question, i do not know.

But i never saw a port not providing supply, even if i was not able to evacuate the troops inside by sea.

von Kleist if youre referring to Leningrad theres 2 ways to kill it bomb the eastern poort on the Leningrad side or the wesytern port on the karelian side the Leningrad port is easiest so you need 3 aa units in each port. the 2 pvo units need to stay in Leningrad and fighters need to be based near the other port keep numerous bomber and transport units in vvs bases nearby to extend the siege and don't neglegt to supply either the forts por leave an army hq in the pocket a nd sub all units to it and just supply that

Thanks for the reply Hermann&Stelteck. Indeed, the question was from the Soviet point of view, e.g. whether Leningrad still supplies Tallin when it is in ZOC.

Bombing Ports into submission isn't like it used to be back in the day where after a few turns the port is closed. Bombing the port into submission now under current patch is a "great" deal more difficult. I suggest to anyone that wishes to know to run a simulation to find out just how tedious it is to bomb a port into submission now.

I have given up bombing ports, my bombers are better used elsewhere (eg disrupting enemy units). What bothers me more as attacker is the degree of damage after ground combat even against weak resistance and the time to repair it.
