Multiplayer game jumping ahead

Post by s2tanker »

I'm playing unath in the 1941-45, VC260 scenario and was doing well, having captured Leningrad and bearing down on Moscow with several weeks of good campaigning weather remaining when, lo and behold, the game jumps ahead to October 23, turn 19 with mud everywhere.

Now, not to be suspicious, but the same thing happened a few months ago with the same player, unath, and, just as with this time, I was doing well while playing the Axis and the game jumped ahead to April 1942.

It seems to me that, after two times, it appears unath has found an exploit.

I'll leave the game up on the server as is for a while.

So you didn't advance the turn after receiving the one with date moved forward?

This one I may have once but may not have noticed as the weather was clear. I can tell something is hinky by the advance of my RR repair units. They are far behind (4-5 turns) a separate game I'm playing with a different player but that is still chronologically advanced about the same.

The same thing happened a few months ago with the same player. I had captured Leningrad and was bearing down on Moscow, then boom, the game advanced to April 1942 and the front was weird looking.
